These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of Health Host’s services. By using our services, you ("Client", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Services Provided
Health Host offers secure cloud infrastructure services including shared hosting, dedicated servers, AI-ready compute environments, and support services for healthcare applications such as EMRs, patient portals, and AI models.
2. Data Residency and Compliance
Health Host is a Canadian-owned company. All client data is hosted in Canadian data centers to ensure compliance with:
- PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)
- HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, for U.S.-related compliance when applicable)
We do not transfer or store your data outside of Canada without your express written consent.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

- Avoid uploading, storing, or transmitting any illegal or harmful content
You are solely responsible for the data and applications you host on our platform.
4. Support and Uptime
We offer 24/7 technical support via email and chat. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance, outages, or factors beyond our control.
5. Data Backup and Retention
Health Host provides regular system-level backups. However, you are responsible for maintaining application-level and compliance-specific backups. We recommend routine offsite backups for critical data.
6. Privacy and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, monitoring, and firewalls. All staff handling sensitive data are trained in privacy best practices and undergo regular compliance reviews.
7. Fees and Payment
Service fees are outlined in your Service Agreement or invoice. All fees are due in advance unless otherwise stated. Late payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Health Host may suspend or terminate services immediately in cases of abuse, non-payment, or violation of this Agreement.
Upon termination, you must export all data before your account is deactivated. Data may be deleted 30 days after termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
Health Host is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for services during the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Amendments
